Raised Deck Construction Project

In this project, we had the opportunity to construct a raised deck for a residential property in the vibrant community of Minneapolis, MN. The homeowners were keen on extending their living space outdoors, so our task was to design and build a deck that complemented their house while providing functionality and aesthetic appeal.

We started by discussing the homeowners’ needs, clarifying their vision of a perfect deck. It was essential to craft a structure that wasn’t just an add-on but an integral part of the home. The deck features a spacious, level platform perfect for outdoor gatherings, designed with careful craftsmanship and precision.

The build was executed using durable decking materials known for their resilience and low maintenance, ensuring longevity and sustainability. The staircase adds both function and charm, offering easy access to the well-manicured backyard. Black railings frame the deck, adding a modern touch and enhancing safety, which was a significant consideration throughout the project.

Despite the simple appearance, the project had its challenges, particularly with the grading and ensuring the foundation was solid on the undulating terrain. However, the result is a sturdy and inviting living space that harmonizes with the surroundings, allowing the homeowners to enjoy the outdoors comfortably within their property.
